Because fast tracking the most complicated legislation in a generation sounds like a great idea...

I can barely watch these debates any more. What an utter shower of banana splits our leaders are. Just utterly incompetent.

She would love to be a dictator, it is just lucky for us that she is nowhere near competent enough to pull it off.

Caught lying, refuses to admit he was lying.

And the worst thing is the “I was promised you wouldn’t raise that”. You’re a strawberry floating MP mate, you answer any strawberry floating question that is strawberry floating asked of you.

I've trained my 2 year old to say "horrible lady" whenever Theresa May is on TV. It's a homage to my younger self as apparently my mum used to get me to say it whenever I saw Margaret Thatcher.

Shows progress though as the Met of yesteryear would have probably turned a blind eye to a bunch of racists.

From a different forum:

What offends me are people like you will not accept that a lot of leavers voted because they simply wanted to leave and for that reason they don't deserve a vote and are stupid, thick, ignorant etc. My father of 80 years is a staunch labour voter and union man never read a manifesto or studied labours policies in his life but feels the labour party were the only party for the British working man. He chose to vote leave because he felt it was right for his country, what he believed in and his ****ing right to do so. So too right I'm offended and angry that arrogant pillocks who don't like how the vote went and have some high and mighty opinion of their selves that they can predict the future and for that reason they want to over rule a democratic vote and label everyone who don't agree with them thick.

Debate that.………

That guy is currently getting furious because people are saying that the Leave vote was based on ignorance of the facts. He can’t comprehend that saying somebody is “ignorant” is not the same as calling them “thick”.

Edit:

Somebody then asked him if he wanted a debate or just a rant:

What do you want me to debate ?...…….. The back stop ? Could happen, could not ? The price of food going up ? Could happen, could not ? Lack of medicine ? Could happen, could not. If you know its going to happen 100% you sir are amazing and I vote for you to me next leader of the country!

Now debate facts …………..the fact 52% leave 48% voted remain. The fact the vast majority of electorate do not know policies or read manifesto's before voting in a GE.

There’s just no hope for some people.

Ford reveals its plans for move abroad

Ford has become the latest carmaker to sound the alarm over Brexit, saying that it is stepping up preparations to move production out of Britain.

The business, which has 13,000 staff in the UK, told the prime minister on a private call with business leaders that it was preparing alternative sites abroad.

The warning comes after Nissan announced last week that it was cancelling plans to build a new model in its Sunderland plant, a decision that it attributed in part to Brexit uncertainty.

During the call Theresa May confirmed reports that the government was preparing a package of financial support for businesses affected by a no-deal Brexit but declined to elaborate.

Another participant said that other companies delivered the same warning as Ford. “The general message was that this isn’t about contingencies any more — we are taking steps already because of the uncertainty. It’s real.”

They probably don’t have one, but can you imagine how awkward it is at the LBC Christmas party when O’Brien is sat inbetween Farage and Dale with Ferrari shouting across at them?

Nick Ferarri does a spot on Irish radio every day and he's more like James O'Brien when he's talking to our presenters, it's weird.

We've agreed trade deals with only 7 countries out of the 69 covered by the EU

Unsurprisingly, Seychelles and Zimbabwe are two of them  :fp:
