Trump revealed what he sees as a trade deal. Trump’s a fool but do you really doubt that the US would make healthcare one of the central points of any deal?
Do you think Boris Johnson, faced with zero trade deals, would block it? Parliament might, but by then we are going to be pretty desperate and it will be dressed up as competition for the NHS rather than a replacement. Or as the US healthcare companies “helping” the NHS with competitive prices.
Congress could block it, but that leaves us with no powerful trade deals. Or Congress backs it and leaves us with no NHS.
Brexit is wonderful.
