They wrote this nonsense about my brother today:

I think we should nuke them.

I'm not reading that, it's in French! I'd rather poke my eyes out.

Twitter and BBC comments didn't satiate my need to vent so I'm back, ill just put dude on ignore and hope he doesn't mention me again.

Fascinating James O'Brien show yesterday essentially saying (with some proof) that Frost is afraid of both Ireland and Northern Ireland's economies doing 'too well' which would magnify the fact that Brexit was a sh*t idea so he's out to mess it up.

I know Frost isn't a politician but surely it's more to do with the risk of reunification. If NI goes it'll hurt the Tories and give momentum to the Scottish independence movement.

I didn't hear the show, but I've seen some of his Twitter stuff mentioning that idea.

It makes sense. If there are shortages in Great Britain but not in Northern Ireland, then it would make Brexit/the Tories look bad.

Trouble is, it needs the media to report it and for Labour to hammer the message home. And neither of those things will happen.

Welcome back btw!

If it wasn't so sad it would be hilarious really.

The one part of the UK that still has its' foot in the EU door is prospering while the rest of the place falls apart :slol: :fp:

Doesn't matter, they did a news thing and all the gooseberry fool kickers will shout about it as a success even when it doesn't exist because they are thick and mince.

Hes not wrong that debate around independence and soverignity will happen, but it will be happening over the 6 counties, not Irelands membership of the EU. He really doesnt have a clue, since joining the EU there has been massive positive change here the country is completely unrecognisable from what it was even 30 years ago and people know thats due in large part to having access to the single market and being part of the EU trading block. The only people here wanting to leave the EU are complete crackpots who are rightly ignored.

Claire Byrne

Nigels Face when they played that clip was *cheff kiss*

Why does Nigel insist on this weird notion that Ireland wants to leave the EU based on literally nothing?!

Also equating British rule with being a member of the EU is borderline offensive.

Claire done it to him before:

Because he's grifter, it's how he gets airtime and gets paid.

I doubt he actually truly believes that.
