Maybe we should threaten to leave Kent in the EU, that'd get us the deal we want.

I read the book it was so-so.

At the end the heroes invade London to stop it firing a super gun but they fail but London blows up anyway as the gun backfires.

The film grossed over $83 million worldwide against a production budget of at least $100 million and post-production costs of nearly $150 million, losing the studio an estimated $174 million and making it the biggest box-office bomb of 2018,[10] and the worst loss in cinematic history ($174.8 millions).

Knowing how much of a flop it was kind of makes me want to watch it.

Guys can we stop talking about gooseberry fool movies in here now?

Every time this thread gets bumped I think it must mean that we've arrived at the sunlit uplands!

The Mortal Engines adaptation was seriously flawed, and it was such a shame as you could clearly see a brilliant story battling to get out.

I read the books years and years ago and look back on them very fondly. Have always meant to read them through again.

I hate it when my jokes get stolen before I write them as well. It's a nightmare!
