So....this begs the question. Does Trump know something we don't, or does he just not have a clue about British politics? And why is Farage in America?

There were rumours/requests that Farage be the next ambassador to America.

I’m not sure he’d do that though, could he do that and be an MEP and Brexit Party leader?

From a different forum:

It's quite valid to blame the remain MPs who have purposely tried to stop Brexit, despite them previously voting to invoke article 50.

No one is saying it's not complex, no one is saying it won't damage the economy, but that's what people like me voted for. This whole exiting process would run a lot smoother and be a lot less complex if those remain MPs respected the result and attempted to find solutions for us to exit smoothly.

Unfortunately, for remain MPs, no deal is a code word for no Brexit because they know that's their best way of stopping Brexit. I'd suggest, what is happening, is exactly what they wanted to happen.

This is the current level of delusion. They wanted to damage the economy but it’s also all the fault of Remain MPs. :fp:

It's literally all they have left now. Blaming others.

I like that a Brexiteer PM is going to own this. How long before they claim he's a remainer?

Yeah because I’m sure all of us that feel like part of our identity is being pulled away for morons and racists will definitely just chill down once we crash out.

The country can't heal until after Brexit, but he doesn't think we have the personnel to achieve a successful Brexit, so the people who want to stop Brexit should be deselected...

Irish Radio this morning had two Conservatives MP's on, one after the other, neither could answer what Boris's 'plan' was, just that he was a 'maverick' or he'll 'energize the process' they just used buzz words instead of answers, it would have been funny if it wasn't so utterly terrifying at the same time.

I feel like even he knows the answer is no, but he's setting it up so that he can leave without a deal and blame it on the EU.

Boris: “Hello….is that…uhh.. Mr Junky?”
Junker: “Hello Mr Johnson, congratulations on your new position”
Boris: “Yes…well…ummm…let’s see….uhhh…about this backstop….”
Junker: “You know our position on the backstop Mr Johnson, you were Foreign Secretary when it was agreed with Mrs May”
Boris: “Oh yeah…fiddlesticks and botheration….ummm….any chance of a different deal?”
Junker: “Yes Mr Johnson, we can do a different deal. But you’ll need to accept freedom of movement and….”
Boris: “Free movement? You mean make the…uhhh..planes free?”
Junker: “No Mr Johnson, I mean allow Europeans workers into your country”
Boris: “Oh…..gooseberry fool….I uhhh…..I will have to call you back”
Junker: “Goodbye Mr Johnson”

I'm going to have a serious look for jobs abroad. I'm already talking to a recruiter in Japan but I think I going to look across Europe and New Zealand, and Australia. Might look into Scotland as well as they're probably leave.

I’m eager to move my 1 year old and myself to Europe, but the girlfriend won’t entertain the idea.
