You can already buy 375ml and 500ml bottles of wine. I don't really see what a pint sized wine bottle will add. Also the US uses a weird mix of imperial and metric pretty much the same as us.

I think it's a good thing. I assume the only bottles produced in the pint size will be British wine so that'll make browsing the shelves and knowing which ones to skip easier.
