I get the feeling from what I’ve been hearing over the past few weeks that a deal is close anyway. Whether it’s a short or long term deal is the question at the moment.

It'll be interesting how the Tory MP's react if he does just fold. I'm guess IDS and John Redwood won't be happy. I'm guessing most of the Brexiteers will just start saying this is what we always wanted, we knew this is how it'd turn out, etc though.

Most hard brexit numpties linked back to Trump that whole way if doing stuff, but Trumpasaurus gone their whole end game as in the shitter, I expect they will all just switch to some other thing and pretend like a US trade deal to rule them all was never something they said.

They've already moved on to the bitching and moaning about how, now that Biden is in, there's no chance we'll get the great deal we were guaranteed to get with Trump. The blame game begins*.

Former Brexit Party MEP Claire Fox has delivered a speech in the House of Lords attacking opponents of Boris Johnson's law-breaking Brexit bill, before voting against it herself.

By a significant margin, peers voted against the legislation which has powers to enable ministers to override international law.

And the Baroness of Buckley was one of the 433 opponents of the bill, despite claiming it was the "right as a sovereign elected body" to be able to break the law.

They clearly know what they're voting for.
