As if travelling with a different colour passport is going to be in any way different!

We'll share a knowing glance of how strawberry floating great it is to be BRITISH, then she'll press a button on her desk and 2 Union Jacks will unfurl with Nimrod playing the background. Jaysus, thought you were going Full Gemini there!

Don’t see the appeal with horse racing, a few mates go mad about Cheltenham and my wife is quite keen but that’s mostly because she can’t believe she can gamble on a phone App!

Haha, I did almost post that without the addendum at first and then thought I'd better make it clear that I'm not actually an anti-Irish dickhead. :D

For anyone who lives in the town it's just a bit of a nightmare each year, it's get incredibly busy and you just end up with a load of drunk idiots all over the place. Admittedly it brings a hell of a lot of cash in to the town so it has an upside to people who are ready to take advantage of it.

Horse racing has never really appealed to me, but then gambling of any form hasn't. I can see why people do go crazy for it but it's not for me!

I just noticed in one of our shared folders that we have put in a bid for winding up one of the pension schemes for the staff of the European Commission.

If we get the UK MEP scheme, then I will make sure that Farage and Widdecombe lose everything. 8-)

The UK is currently on a path that in a few years "build the Wall" will be the chant.

I saw a video on YouTube about it and basically it's a lot. There's lots of charges every time you move jobs. You have to keep paying to get access to health care.

According to a paywalled article on the Telegraph, the UK government has come to the realisation Brexit won't happen this year and will now seek an extension.

Telegraph wrote:Detailed Brexit trade negotiations planned for this week were cancelled on Monday, with Government sources indicating that the UK is preparing the ground to seek a mutually agreed extension to the talks in the coming weeks.

As the coronavirus crisis deepened, senior Whitehall sources also confirmed that civil servants who had been working on Brexit "no deal" preparations were being actively redeployed into virus crisis management.

EU sources said hopes of conducting a full negotiation round via videolink had been crushed by the Covid-19 outbreak, which has put large swathes of Europe into effective lockdown and limited the ability of EU diplomats and officials to prepare for the talks.

Does anyone else find it ironic that the EU have closed their outer border today but because the UK has left it isn't included so our borders are the ones still open?
