I need a healthcare package to stay in Poland because of this.

BUPA quoted me 230 euros a month and that's without me even putting in my prior conditions. :fp:

A woman promoted so far above her station she'd need the hubble telescope to see it.

I've got smarter pot plants.

You could have the finest minds on the planet sorting it out and Brexit would still be gooseberry fool.

We're fighting a losing battle and our army is made up of the equivalent of those Goomba things you jump on in the early stages of a Super Mario game.

This is the funniest and some how most depressing tweet I've ever read.

I wonder why people thought their holiday homes/retirement plans would be unaffected by leaving the EU?

Is there any analysis of the expat/holiday home vote?

I'm curious how many turkeys voted for Christmas in there.

I don't know, but I'd imagine most of them voted Remain as they surely can't be that stupid?

I think the holiday home abroad people are the people I feel least sorry for though. Eat the rich.

There are a lot of people in Spain who voted leave. I have a friend who's parents took early retirement and moved to Spain, they voted leave and are massively struggling because of the health care costs they have to pay because of Brexit and drop in the pounds value.

My understanding if you live in the EU full time you're going to be alright. It's just people with holiday homes who rely on work in the UK who are screwed.

This survey just before the referendum suggests 19% would have voted Leave: https://www.standard.co.uk/news/uk/eu-r ... 69901.html

The percentage in Spain may well have been higher though!

Idiots.

To be fair one in five of people who arguably had the most to lose is still shockingly high.

Edit:

Spain has said it'll deport British ex pats if the UK doesn't offer receprical arrangements. So they could have all been sent back to Blighty if everything went badly.
