You make that sound like you are a supporter of Brexit/No Deal.

Is the Tory party so important to you that you’d support this gooseberry fool?

The Tory party leader wants no deal, and so Denster wants no deal.

How could you possibly have an interpreted that as anything but a joke?

I did take it as a joke.

But it seemed to be a joke from somebody that was supporting this gooseberry fool.

Yes. I'm such a staunch Tory that I think 50 pence pieces will make it all better.

Yeah I wasn’t talking about the 50p, I was talking about your No Deal comment.

Madeley is such a daft banana split. He’s like a ridiculously far fetched Alan Partridge.

He's accurately voicing a discourse that has been growing stronger and stronger (that only no-deal Brexit is 'true' Brexit) but he's too stupid or incurious to interrogate the idea further.

The list of things Richard Madeley doesn't know is too vast for mere mortals to comprehend.

Sadly most leave voters probably think he destroyed it in that clip - "yeah, you strawberry floating tell that remoaner bastard Richard!" :fp:

I felt my IQ depleting when watching that jesus strawberry floating Christ. Madeley basically argued for another referendum :fp: and then...

"a lot of people don't think that, you just saying it (a fact) doesn't make it so. sorry it's the maths"

It made me laugh that he thinks leaving “No Deal” off of a referendum would be unfair to Leavers.

If they want three options (Remain, No Deal or May’s Deal) then I’m happy with that.

https://blogs.lse.ac.uk/brexit/2019/08/ ... qMGuxp4kuI

As Central-Eastern European migrants return home, (or refuse to come to the UK for the wages and conditions on offer) both of which increasingly they appear to be doing, UK nationals will need to be ‘persuaded’ to accept those low-paid ‘3D’ (dirty, dangerous, and demeaning) jobs that they had previously rejected. The ‘Singapore scenario’ applied to the UK would mandate a downgrading of current welfare and labour standards in a massive recalibration of labour expectations of the domestic labour force. Such a recalibration would be achieved by a radical shrinking of what remains of the welfare state, combined with a raft of ‘incentives’ to accept whatever jobs are on offer.

Amusement under late capitalism is the prolongation of work.

Boris Johnson skipping away from his meeting with John Bolton hearing that the US would be keen to fast track a deal with the UK in a no-deal brexit scenario like it is some kind of a good thing. :dread: :fp:

Of course they will say that - they are absolutely desperate to get in and exploit the strawberry float out of the UK market, this is not a good thing to be hearing from a UK perspective! :fp:

17.4million voted for it. The other 50million have to accept that we want to do everything America wants.

My mum got involved in a Facebook argument with a Brexit supporter who started with the millennium bug analogy bollocks. He’s currently claiming that his sister in law was the head of IT for Wells Fargo and she said nothing happened on 1 January 2000. Yeah mate, I’m sure a no name divvy from Bristol is the brother in law of the head of IT for a big American bank.
