BP stand out in town, handing out leaflets. Was in a rush so just firmly said not interested, is it even worth arguing the toss with them?

LED bulbs are great. Far more efficient, bright and last years and years. Any increase in price is more than made up for in electricity savings and longevity. I think people confuse them with the old CFL energy saving bulbs, which were a bit shite.

Who this Leaver voter wants to vote for will blow your mind.

They don’t confuse them, they just petty banana splits complaining about a foreigner telling them they can’t have something.

Are there even any companies that still manufacture the old style bulbs?

Doubt it, I thought the rule was no more making them or importing them but they could sell stock.

Meh, not that surprising. I have spoken with many people who voted leave just for the thrill of shaking things up a bit. No further thought given. Basically the political equivalent of teenagers smashing up a bus shelter.

One person can't really do much about it by themselves IMO (although milkshaking them is better than nothing ;) ). You need to organise to have an impact. A group standing on the other side of the street telling the pro-EU side of the story, that would be worth doing.

I love the way she kept it TV safe.
I can just imagine some grumpy old geezer going on a full on sweary rant in that situation :slol:

So it seems like Boris is going to back down and send a letter asking for an extension after all if a deal hasn't been made?

“Do Europeans even do dogging?" he added.

"There is something deeply British about dogging.”

I mean, when you go on a tube site and search "[European nationality] sex outdoors" barely anything comes up does it? The EU will come running back when they lose all that British dogging sexiness.

The EU fail at dogging because they don’t have fox masks.

The Scottish courts have rejected the need to force Johnson to send a letter requesting extension in the event of No Deal, primarily because he's promised the court he will comply with the Benn Act regardless.
