LED bulbs are great. Far more efficient, bright and last years and years. Any increase in price is more than made up for in electricity savings and longevity. I think people confuse them with the old CFL energy saving bulbs, which were a bit shite.

Doubt it, I thought the rule was no more making them or importing them but they could sell stock.

Meh, not that surprising. I have spoken with many people who voted leave just for the thrill of shaking things up a bit. No further thought given. Basically the political equivalent of teenagers smashing up a bus shelter.

One person can't really do much about it by themselves IMO (although milkshaking them is better than nothing ). You need to organise to have an impact. A group standing on the other side of the street telling the pro-EU side of the story, that would be worth doing.
