He's belatedly realised what has been known for a long time- Eastern European workers are the people doing jobs the British refuse to do. Picking vegetables is a massive one without which will lead to food shortages as vegetables die in the fields.

I will say though, that industry is highly exploitative. A friend of mine who migrated over from Eastern Europe told me recently just how poor the pay and conditions are. It basically works out at less than minimum wage.

But he's only talking about Italian workers in that clip.

The problem with getting Eastern European workers of with the drop in the value of the pound they're better off doing farm work elsewhere.

Or more likely we will start a clap for cauliflowers event.

What's more likely is that the Tories will start forcing people on JSA to go and work in the fields picking fruit and vegetables and if they refuse their benefits are cut off.

Or ask volunteers to step up for Britain and do a hard day's work for nothing. That's the go to solution for the PM.

Wish my image sig would work

It's really annoying that they get to lie for years about the details of a trade deal and then turn around and do the exact things that they said the wouldn't and there is absolutely no come back. Had they said that they were going to lower food standards before the last election they would have had a much tougher time at the last election.

EDIT: I don't really believe you can consider yourself a democratic party if you are prepared to lie about you intentions directly to the public.

I know he's joking but I'm not even going to trust halal meat if we get a deal with the US. I've read reports that Halal already has traces of pork on it.

What's the US's beef like? Just wondering whether I'm going to need to go full vegetarian or not.

Either way you voted it, I’d recommend it

I have seen its been added to Netflix, its currently in my ever expanding to watch list

I know it’s unrelated but I can’t resist to say, I find the watch list the opposite of what it’s intended. I make a list and it Seems daunting so I watch other things
