To be honest, they have a point.

They were lied to, and nothing was done about it. The political system has failed many people.

It would be pretty funny if Brexit going terribly actually did backfire and totally destroy the Tories.

It absolutely won't happen, but at least the fantasy is entertaining.

They were told over and over again and just replied with "project fear" and "we know what we voted for".

I have no sympathy for anybody that continued to believe in this gooseberry fool after the vote when it became damn clear just how gooseberry fool it would be.

I was reading about accelerationists and I really think that the Tories seem to pushing that line of thinking. There seems to be a massive ground swell in support of very left political because the younger generation has it so bad at the moment, but the Tories seem to be implementing policy to make young peoples lives worse. It's the same when you look at green policy the Tories are doing nothing to really improve the environment and it's likely they will start to roll back environmental protections. Continuing this style of politics seems bound to lead to a massive backlash when the older voters inevitably die off. It seems like the Tories actually being secret commies wanting to speed on the end of capitalism is the best fit for what they Tories are doing, although I'm guessing it's actually a combination of short termisim, laziness and stupidity.

Amusement under late capitalism is the prolongation of work.

I think it would somehow end up being the fault of the Labour Party or the Guardian.

We should migrate GRcade to Flarum. :toot:

Brexit only works if you believe in it. It's all the fault of the remoaners for talking Britain down.

Im confused again... are leavers now regretting things or not? and if they are, are enough of them regretful that a Theoretical Brexit vote now would see remain dominate?
