Johnson removed the whip and kicked a load of Tories out of the party. He was running a minority government and even the DUP votes were not enough to defeat him on every single vote.

The other parties couldn't agree to work together and ended up agreeing for Johnson's request for a GE. He then obliterated everyone.

Oh, yeah I see now. For some reason I thought you were saying they had a chance to work together to block the Tories once the votes had been cast, my bad.

Even in the election they might have had a chance if they'd worked together and not eaten up each other's votes in areas where the Tories could be defeated.

But none of them had any strawberry floating sense.

They might be scummy bastards, but the Brexit Party were sensible enough to stay out of Tory areas.

Brexiteers celebrating this USA/UK air services agreement, as though the fact we will still be able to fly to the USA after Brexit is some sort of achievement!

True. The bar has sunk to such a depth, next we'll be raising a glass to the prospect of continued photosynthesis in 2021, all thanks to Brexit of course!

Right wing banana splits are always whinging about where their taxes go but I am certain not one of them cares about this absolute disgrace of a 'celebration' of a national disaster. I really hope it blows up in their faces horribly.

President-elect Joe Biden has said America does not want a "guarded border" between the Republic of Ireland and Northern Ireland following Brexit.

He said it had taken a lot of hard work to reach a settlement on the island of Ireland, ending decades of conflict.
