Still making my way through this on Netflix, (about half way through the second series,) and absolutely loving it. Disappointed with myself for not starting it sooner.

strawberry float. Not my favourite character, but one that I thought really worked in the setting of the show. As long as Terry doesn't drop out I'm happy.

Interesting, I’ve actually got a bit bored of her character if I’m honest. I realised that I didn’t miss her when the actor was off on maternity leave.

Shame. Conversely I did miss her when she was on maternity leave, Brooklyn is very much an ensemble piece and feels diminished whenever they don't have all the main players involved in my opinion.

She's the weakest character so it is no great loss. Terry or Holt leaving would be the end of the show.

Holt going would kill it dead. Andre Braugher

I feel the same. It works because you have this great chemistry between all the actors/characters, each one bringing something unique to the table.

Noice.

Caught a few S6 episodes. Ok start so far but Ep 7 “Honeypot” is absolutely one of the best ever episodes.

Here's some not so noice news: Brooklyn Nine-Nine is coming to an end.

The beloved cop comedy starring Andy Samberg and Andre Braugher will wrap with its previously announced eighth season. The final season will consist of 10 episodes — its lowest order ever. What's more, the series from creators Dan Goor and Mike Schur (Parks and Recreation) will not air during the 2020-21 broadcast season. The Universal Television entry will return at a date to be determined during the 2021-22 broadcast season.

Started watching this on Netflix tail end of 2020, halfway through season 4 and I think this show is pure gold! The Halloween heist episodes are brilliant and I love the interactions between the characters, they all play so well off each other.

Gutted to hear it’s coming to an end, I’ll be caught up by the time season 8 rolls around.

Shame it's only 10 episodes but suppose it's lucky to be coming back at all having been cancelled once already, Covid and the unavoidable issue of the real police over the past year(/forever).

They've been really sensitive to that as well, I think they probably all feel at this point that it's not really possible to make a comedy cop show in the current format. Which is a shame because it's been really consistently good for a long time.
