Maybe the "DETOUR" is referring to the canceled E3 announcement?

Well. Dont know what this is for and hope it aint an anti-climax but at least they know how to crank up the hype.
Remember that bumblebee gooseberry fool for Halo 2? What the hell is Sony doing for Killzone 2

What were those extra Halo 3 achievements for? Hopefully a massive game upgrade to Halo 3.5 with new story levels.

It's all very good, but it took me away from the experience a bit when i noticed they spelt "unintelligible" wrong twice in different ways.

I think he's a decaying AI, which is an old AI which has started to go insane.

Or they didn't have spellcheck on.

Can't they just announce it without the viral marketing?

Why would they? Viral marketting does its job.

Because I already know Bungie are making a new game that will probably be Halo based and this kind of viral marketing doesn't tell me anything about it.

well LBP shows they can do an info blitz that is so constant it actually puts you off the game (i'm totally bored of the constant videos now), so maybe taking their time is wise..

I hate this kind of stuff.

It's as bad as the announcement for a trailer being released for Motorstorm 2. Which was strawberry floating delayed anyway!

Can't they all just strawberry float off, make the thing, come back a month before it's released and say 'HEY EVERYONE LOOK WHAT WE'VE GOT!', and everyone be happy?

I too am actually beginning to tire of Little Big Planet. It's no longer fresh anymore is it? Trying to avoid finding out about big games too early, by not visiting any gaming sites whatsoever or buying magazines, but then there's forums and i'll never be able to give them up. :x

yeah, anyway, new halo woo.

Yep, we do ourselves no favours using these forums really do we  Totally tire ourselves of the game too early. It's an addiction.

Would help if the companies didn't treat us like little zombies who need to be teased with new amazing videos that are just like the last one every 5 bloody minutes. I end up feeling tired of a lot of games before they release but LBP has actually fallen off my buy list because of it. Be glad if i never see a sackboy again at the moment. (I'll probably feel different a few weeks after release when the hype dies down if it turns out tobe really good)

I often enjoy games I didn't know much about more now.

Before the events of Halo CE or between the period in-between Halo 3 & Halo 4?

Dawn is about to break.

Announcement/Info/More Hype soon?

Well the Dawn of Autumn (the ship you're on at the start of Halo:CE) was colloquially referred to as The Dawn, so you could well be on to something here.
