Been playing through EA Access and living the nostalgia. Once the ten hours are up I highly doubt I'll be buying it, but it's certainly good. I can hardly remember the others, but I know I loved both 2 and 3. Hoping they can also get some remasters.

I'd love to play this and it looks amazing on One X but my navigation skills are so piss poor that I can't really take the lead in races without ending up hopelessly lost and then finishing last. All I can hope to do is draft 1st place for the entire race and hope to pass after the final corner :fp: .

Let me know if you get this as I'm considering picking it up too

Do you think it would be possible for us to go a page without someone needlessly coming in here and saying they preferred a different burnout?

Never said I preferred it, it's possible to like more than one game. I've put 12 hours into paradise since Friday.

No it bloody isn't possible give me my classic burnout

I've put it onto my Boomerang list but they're all on rent so it may take a week or so.

Burnout 3: Takedown was better than Paradise.

Tony Hawks Pro Skater 3 was my favourite Burnout game, in all honesty.

I'm glad that the remaster it seems to be better than I thought it would be, and I'll definitely be getting it next paycheck.

Booo. My 10 hour trial has run out.

I am not sure I can wait until this is in the vault, I might actually have to spend money on it. I'll probably cave the first time it appears on a weekly deal.

Got this today. I didn’t enjoy the original but wanted to give it another bash. I’m very very impressed. Does the DLC they added change the base game or something? I felt the map was much more interesting that I remember.

There's a new island to the very east of the map, the rest is just cars really, big surf island is the only map addition.

So I'm going to be platinuming this one. Maybe not getting all the DLC trophies but for the core game all I have left to do is get my burnout license, just spent an hour finding my last event and it was fun just doing that.

Burnout.

I go back and forth on them making a new one, it would end up being a lootbox ridden disaster.

Yeah it is better they leave it as it is and not ruin what there is with something that has the name and just doesn't feel right.

I recall that, a couple of years back, they released a 2D, top-down racing thing under the Burnout name. I don't think it was particularly well received.

Of course, that crash zone focused game - Danger Zone - also appeared about a year ago and I think one or two former Burnout developers made that. As a fan of the old crash zones - personally, that *is* Burnout for me! - I found it to be pretty neat but also incredibly bare-bones.

The 2d one that was just crashes was awesome, it used to blurt out that Gold song from the 80's and was just perfect pick up and play fun
