Again I have to disagree to a certain point of view. I love WWII shooters. Whereas you might be right that MW is better than WaW, it isn't the country mile that you're trying to make out.

I'm a big WWII shooter fan myself which is why I probably enjoy WaW more.

I'm going through this on Hardened at the moment (Veteran can strawberry float off) and I'm enjoying it. There's no better feeling than setting fire to enemies lying down in the grass.

What's the best weapons I'm looking for and what level do you have to reach to get them. I'm presently level 33. I use a Thompson with apature sights. My sniper weapon is M1 Garrand with sniper scope.

Level 37. STG44 with aperture, which is far better than the sniper scope.

The 2 weapons I use are a STG (level 37) with the aperture sight and in the smaller maps, the MP-40 with a double magazine.

Level 38, got the STG44 (with muzzle suppressor) haven't unlocked aperture sights yet. Great gun! 8-)

Call of Duty: World at War Gets First DLC

Activision and Treyarch announced today that Call of Duty: World at War (which is still the most popular game on Xbox Live) will get its first dose of downloadable content in the form of four new maps to be made available sometime in March for PC, Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3. No price point has been announced.

Map Pack 1 will include three new maps to the standard competitive multiplayer modes. The first, Nightfire, pits players in the streets of WWII Berlin; Knee Deep presents fortified Japanese installations to be destroyed; and Station is the remnants of a subway system ravaged by the war. The fourth map is an add-on to everyone's favorite Nazi Zombie mode called Verrückt (Moves in English) where combatants will find new weapons, new "Perks-a-Cola," and electroshock defenses to help thwart the endless horde of brain munchers.

My weapon of choice is that.

It's a tan-fastic gun! I unlocked aperture and telescopic sights. Aperture FTW!

Do you use the stopping power perk? It's pretty much essential, IMHO.

Pretty much, the same setup as me.

STG 44 + aperture

Stopping power
Steady aim
Bouncing Bettys

For the tanks I use the ordnance one.

High five!

I take it, you absolutely pwning in every game you play?

I was actually contemplating selling the game, but it's clicked into place with the STG44, shame you have to grind your way to level 37 though. And it's also a shame, that just as I'm begining to enjoy it alot more, my 360 RED RINGS. :fp:

High Five!

Unlucky mate.

I'm absolutely loving this game. I had a laugh on the "Outskirts" map. Two players were camping in the church spire. Raise gun, fire, BAM headshot, gun still raised, BAM another kill!

For the first time since finishing the solo play game that I stuck on the Nazi Zombie level! What fun! Nowhere near as good as Left 4 Dead mind. Just a question, is this available on-line or is it just a solo play thing?
