Info on cross-gen upgrades:
Next-generation upgrade options for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One
Both digital console versions of Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War offer upgrades, within the same console family, from PlayStation 4 to PlayStation 5.
PlayStation 4 will have an option to upgrade to PlayStation 5 through the PlayStation Store.
Xbox One upgrade to Xbox Series X through the Microsoft Store is currently being evaluated and new information will be updated in this FAQ when available. Please see information below regarding the Xbox Series X version as part of the digital Cross-Gen Bundle.
Both current generation versions (PlayStation 4 and Xbox One) will be playable on their respective next-generation console via backwards compatibility by downloading the game from your account’s digital library. But, the game will not include any of the next-generation features, such as higher framerate, hardware based ray-tracing, faster load times, and more.
The digital Standard Edition is available for pre-order on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC on Battle.net through platform stores and select Call of Duty in-game stores.

'Evaluated' meaning not necessary as Series X will presumably be out by the 13th.

I just saw a clip of this with Ronald Reagan in it, strangely I was shocked and really impressed.
I think it’s because he looks so lifelike and he is a familiar figure, from the news, that I haven’t seen really for years.
I wonder if
THATCHER will cameo?

Trailer looked great, rather tempted to gte this one, just hope the install size isn't a silly size like Modern Warfare.

Some interesting takes on a tried and tested formula.
Waiting to hear info relating to the PS5 as I may well get it at launch for that.

Alpha multiplayer on Friday. Ps4 only.
Before the beta in the first week of October.
I'll check it out before pre ordering I think.

Loved the boots on the ground blops so this could be good.

What's the difference? The text on both is the same, just switched in order.

Alpha was good. Fast, smooth and gunplay is lovely. The perks or attachment balance is good. Time to kill is faster than blops 4.
Maps are decent. Only 3 seen on normal mp rotation.
Promising so far. If you liked previous blops. This should appeal.

This reminded me of black ops 1 which isnt a bad thing and its miles better than the awful modern warfare. I dunno though it needs something more, we have seen it all before. Its pretty ugly compared to modern warfare but I like the sound in this, you can hear the direction of enemies much easier.
