Good idea, wouldn't want it to sell out.

We should migrate GRcade to Flarum. :toot:

I can understand pre-ordering if it's a game you're keen on; publishers are pushing for "day one" income and so they offer incentives to do so. In this case, digital pre-orders for the PS4 format include a Prestige Token and a Classic Captain Price Character for Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 that you can use immediately, plus a Dynamic Theme at launch. If you're gonna pick the game up anyway, you may as well pre-order and get this additional stuff.

I would disagree that a morsel of progress, a skin for the previous game that I expect will nosedive in popularity after the new one comes out and a wallpaper for when you're not playing anything is worth essentially betting that the game is good ahead of any critical output.

Seen a few adverts for this on the telly last night, have they finally got a new graphics engine? Looked quite sexy.

Ooh exciting. I haven't played a COD game in a very long time but if this is a beat-for-beat remake of Modern Warfare in a sexy new chassis then I might be tempted to give it a whirl :datass:

The game installation requires 175Gb on the PC version... and this could grow further with updates and DLC. I wonder what space will be required by the console versions?

137GB for Xbox.

Expect similar size for PS4 too.

A week to go until the release date. :)

That wouldn't be a worry for me now I've got my 4TB external. People come from far and wide to marvel at the impressive capacity and girth of my hard [unintelligible]

Hat?

Anyway, I believe you can team up on this across all 3 versions, be good to get a team going...although not sure I want to be playing against PC users tbh.

This might be my first Call of Duty game since Black Ops. I don't know what to get... Medieval, this or The Outer Worlds.

Too many good games out at the same time!

It’s £59.99 digitally on the PS4! I don’t play online MP as I’m totally rubbish at it. Never played Spec Ops beyond 10 minutes on the original MW game as I get wiped out pretty fast by those bulky tank-like soldiers.

EDIT: Annnnnnnd I’ve just bought it. Preloading now.
