First impressions are very promising. Maps are nice with destructible door/ windows/partitions that only provide temporary and partial cover. Maps look well designed and suit a variety of play styles.
Guns are similiar to WW2 but feel meatier and more satisfying. Quick but not too quick and TTK seems spot on.

It feels like MW and WW2 had a wonderful baby together. People dismissing it may well be pleasantly surprised. It wont win over any non believers but if you like MP and are good at the decent - i think you'll enjoy it.
New warzone Map is great and long overdue.
Campaign seems quite extensive.
It's pretty smooth to play, lobbies are fast and easily joined.

I've gone from cautiously optimistic to greatly looking forward to this now.
It's available from later this week for PS4 and Ps5 owners then Xbox lot join us next weekend.

That sounds pretty neat, Denster - great to get some new features to keep players on their toes.

Nice one, as I know that you're a fan of the series. Are you playing on PS5? If so... does it feel like a step forward in terms of graphics and performance?

Yeah it does. Fast and smooth. It will have the 120 option, too.

Gutted there’s no ‘War Mode’ for multiplayer

This is out on Friday, assuming no one is picking it up?

I've got it preordered on PC, I kind of find playing an hour or so of COD each night theraputic. Nice to just put on some music and blast away for an hour before returning to the real world.

It took me three attempts to get into Cold War but I've finally got into it.

Modern Warfare I played so much during lockdown, first COD in many years and ended up unlocking all the Damascus Mastery Camos on the guns....

Yeah I really enjoyed the Beta for Vanguard, although I love the WW2 setting for games so it's perfect for me.

Secrets that were buried underneath #Verdansk are now coming to light. #Warzone is going to the Pacific!

My order has been dispatched. Purchased it back in I think August for £41.77 from 365.

Apart from it being set in WW2 again I can't say I've been following the previews or trailers so I'm going in dark (well, as much as you can with a COD game...I think we all know what to expect).

I’m still on the fence with this, may at least wait for a cheaper entry price.

I’ve been playing a lot of Cod WW2 lately just to get back into the era and really enjoy it. The lack of a war mode in this one really puts me off the multiplayer

No reviews yet? I haven't pre-ordered just in case it turns out to be a bucket of horse wank.

The Beta was very promising.

Played a bit this morning, really enjoying it. Feels rather fluid compared to Black Ops plus some proper nostalgia with some World at War maps included at launch.

Going to put some proper time in this evening.

I love the addition of Castle & Dome from World at War. Hope they bring back some more classics.

I started the Campaign yesterday evening. Really hasn't grabbed me at all so far, though the usual merry-go-round of bugs and glitches hasn't helped (floating dead enemies on the train, enemies having wacky convulsions on the floor, audio completely out of sync on the graphically impressive cut-scenes).

I've always enjoyed having a team or another AI character around me in the COD titles, where you're then only sporadically left on your lonesome, whereas this one appears to have gone down the Medal of Honor route more than any of the previous entries and stuck you on your own (even when you're with others something quickly conspires to have you become a one-man army).

Oh, and don't get me started on the insta-death dogs.

A couple of times I've already gone to hell with it and cheated the game (where you just sprint through the level, make it to the next checkpoint, die, repeat strategy). Maybe it's just me now, the feeling of Groundhog Day with this franchise has finally peaked and I just can't be arsed to engage with it properly.
