yeah snap should be good. Seen some of the YouTubers playing the new map and it looks great. Lots of elevation throughout and a variety of locations. I'll hop on it for a bit and see what's what.

Where's the cheapest place to get this on PS5? My brother is after it for his birthday.
Cheapest I've found so far is £61.85 at ShopTo

They totally strawberry floated up the Pacific stuff imo.

Me and my mates only play rebirth now. Judging by the menu options, that's the same with the vast majority of people.

Not enjoying the new map as much. Could just be Warzone fatigue though. Still enjoying the Multiplayer though.

Modern Warfare 2 confirmed for 2022

Call of Duty is officially heading back to the present day, with Modern Warfare 2 finally confirmed after huge speculation. Kelly stated “it should be obvious” that they’re working on the game after the huge success of 2019’s Modern Warfare, which has sold over 30 million copies.

The game will be built on a brand-new engine, which the company has “been working on for years,” as Infinity Ward looks to improve players’ experience on all platforms.

Kelly didn’t give an exact release date for Modern Warfare 2 but did state that the game would release in Fall 2022.

“New Warzone experience” built on new MW2 engine

That new Modern Warfare 2 engine won’t just power that game, but will also act as the foundation of a “new Warzone experience.”

The next iteration of Warzone is being built from the ground up alongside MW2, which will allow the games to work together seamlessly after years of issues and messy integration with other titles.

Kelly claims the new Warzone experience will be “disruptive” and a “massive evolution of Battle Royale.” On top of that, the Infinity Ward Creative Director teased that it will feature an “incredibly ambitious sandbox mode,” although they declined to elaborate any further on this.

Neither Infinity Ward nor Raven Software gave any indication of a release date for the new Warzone experience. Considering it is built on Modern Warfare 2’s engine, it’s likely we will see it at some point during MW2’s lifecycle.

Ive loved every single MW. Hope the lobbies are better on this one. They were slow as hell at times on the last one.

I get confused by all the CoD games naming conventions these days.

Is Modern Warfare a remake of a previous CoD game or a brand new one? I mainly play CoD for the SP Campaign and only dabble in MP so would appreciate thoughts on MW's SP if indeed it is a new game. Cheers

Next year's game to be delayed? Hmmn... I wonder if this some fallout from the Activision takeover by Microsoft? I recall something about a PlayStation deal being in place until the end of 2023...

With the sale to Xbox, they don't have to appeal to investors so much easier to make this decision.

That's my initial take which could be wrong and although stated otherwise (because it has to be an autonomous company till Xbox take over) this has everything to do with them being acquired.

I’ve got back into this tonight after a hiatus on multiplayer and have to say whilst some of the games have been fun I feel like an old fart.

Having people dressed in crossover/marketing for Kong/Godzilla and being shocked with special guns as a result sort of is a bit gooseberry fool. It’s supposed to be WW2 for gods sake yeah? :shifty: :slol:

I played a lot of the old Cod WW2 on PS4 last year, has an active player base think I’m just more used to that.

I pretty much gave up on the series when they added killer bats. It's got steadily more ridiculous ever since. Fortnite is to blame, obviously.
