I also cook Homepride sauces. Does that count? I mean you've still got to cut up the chicken....no wait, Sainsbury's do it already diced. Look, you've still got to open the packaging & place it in the wok/pan. If the pan isn't hot enough you'll end up boiling the meat.

Phil Vickery once did a spag bol on This Morning a couple of years ago.

Fry mince
Add chopped onions & a clove of crushed garlic
Oregano
Tomato purée
Barbera (or a good quality red wine). About a mug full. Simmer down a bit.
Passatta
Beef stock
3 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
Cook for about an hour.
Add a dash of milk just before the end.

It's very nice, actually.

Not really, Scrambled Eggs every now and then. Would like to properly try it though.

Yes and Yes every night. I'm yet to convince my lazy housemates that turning the oven on and popping something in it doesn't count as cooking

My Bolognaise differs slightly, but is fantastic

Fry off some Panchetta in some olive oil for a few minutes
Add 1 chopped Onion and about 3 cloves of chopped Garlic and fry until the onions are transucent
Add the mince and some black pepper and brown
Add some passata or a tin of chopped tomatoes.
add 1 tsp each of Origano, Thyme and Basil
Add 1/2 a tsp of Paprika
A splash of Worcestershire sauce
a tablespoon of Balsamic Vinagar.

Cook for about 1/2 an hour.

I can cook, but often cannot afford to pay for individual ingredients when I can buy a ready made sauce for much less. I am aiming to make a home-made Chicken Korma soon, though.

Made a pretty lush chili tonight, slightly underestimated how hot it was going to be though.

I like cooking and do so for mates sometimes. I think for a 22 year old I can cook pretty well, but I often just can't be arsed to cook when I get home from work.

I was thinking we should have a recipes thread/archive on here. On the Saturday Kitchen John Torode had the most amazing salad dressing. I'll get the link to it.

Edit: Here it is:

http://www.bbc.co.uk/food/recipes/database/beefrendangwithlemon_90061.shtml

The salad dressing is the 3rd ingredient set down. It goes with any salad. Yum.

I can cook to an extent, it is all down to difficulty and experiance with the ingredients for me.
