To be fair though, it was a video, not a game.
I suspect any game that could be played to look like that video, would in fact be extremely frustrating and a bit gooseberry fool...
...which isn't to say that they couldn't have made it into a fantastic game, just that that video wasn't showing a fantastic game.

Road Rash, despite my fond memories when playing on the Mega Drive, was actually crap.
What I miss is EA's Strike games. Desert Strike and Jungle Strike... two of my favourite games from the MD era.

I've never played Road Rash, but that certainly looks good.
They should of released it on the consoles arcades like that. It's very Mirrors Edge with the uncompleted textures I would of shelled out for it, if it was playable anyway.
