A cable TV channel in America is going to be showing every single episode on a 24 hour marathon soon. :o No way Sky would do that. I'd love to see the ratings once they get past the 90s...

Ay, Caramba! To celebrate its acquisition of “The Simpsons,” FXX will air the longest running marathon in TV history, showing all 25 seasons of the veteran animated comedy (that’s 552 episodes) plus “The Simpsons Movie” in chronological order from August 21 through September 1.

The marathon kicks off at 10 a.m. on Aug. 21 and will run 24 hours a day on FXX until 12 a.m. on Sept. 1.

In October, the cabler will also launch “Simpsons World,” described as “the ultimate ‘Simpsons’ digital experience,” allowing authenticated viewers to have on-demand access to every “Simpsons” episode through SimpsonsWorld.com and the FXNow apps on iPhone, iPad, Xbox One, Xbox 360, Android phones and tablets, Smart TVs, and additional set-top devices. Through the site, fans will be able to curate personalized playlists, share clips and explore Springfield’s most memorable characters and locations.

From Sept. 2, FXX will also schedule “The Simpsons” across their lineup on weekdays and weekends, and will air themed mini-marathons of eight episodes every Sunday from 4 p.m., ahead of the show’s broadcast on Fox at 8 p.m.

“The Simpsons” is a Gracie Films Production in association with 20th Century Fox Television. James L. Brooks, Matt Groening and Al Jean are the executive producers. Film Roman, a Starz Media Company, is the animation house.

http://www.ign.com/articles/2014/07/20/ ... -crossover

Lastly, more of the big Peter vs. Homer fight scene was shown, beginning with them growling at each other...

Peter: “Simpson!”

Homer: “Griffin!”

The two begin comically punching each other, both of them exactly mimicking both the punch itself and their head swinging back for a while. They then begin pummeling each other and rolling around on the street, before Homer finally grabs Peter by his throat and begins to strangle him… at which point Peter freaks out and leaps back.

Peter: “What the hell? That really hurts!”

Homer: “I do it to my son all the time!”

Peter: “No wonder he’s fat and stupid!”

Homer: “That’s your son!”

Saw one of the newer episodes a little while ago, another Marge and Homer are having marital problems story. It was actually pretty good.

Homer Feeds sushi to dog.
Sushi chef across town wakes up
"Someone is feeding my sushi to a dog!"
