Nor sure on the PS Store as it says unavailable to me because I already own it but you can buy the DLC extras from CDKeys for £10.99 but only for Xbox One for some reason.

I wasn't planning on buying this on release. Don't tend to buy games full price and am trying to cut down on spending after xmas.

But I loved Resident Evil 2. Have very fond memories of the summer of 98 playing the original and watching the World Cup when I was supposed to be revising for my A-Levels. Played both scenarios to death and unlocked everything possible.

I've also just pretty much finished Arkham Knight so was going to start a new game and the Mrs is away Thursday night, not back late on Friday and I'm off Friday so have plenty of time to play. Seriously considering picking this up now.

Was gutted when this came up on their YouTube video. I've since unsubscribed so I don't make the mistake of watching any of their gooseberry fool again.

Had IGN been a magazine, you could excuse him for having to bomb through it to hit the publishing deadline, but is it really that important for every website to have their review up the moment the embargo lifts? The game isn't out until Friday, there's time to play it properly.

In my experience, games with a scheduled Friday release consistently arrive on the Thursday from ShopTo. Of course, online elements may not be available on the Thursday, but with Resi 2 I assume this won't matter.

CDKeys have sent me my download code.

I managed about 3 minutes in the demo before I "noped" the strawberry float out. All I did was go into the first dark corridor.

Have told myself that i cant have this until i play Resi 7 (which is in my backlog)...... in VR.

I have been putting it off for about 16 months now, but i should at least try right? I mean, i don't get night terrors (at least i don't right now), so whats the worst that could happen?

In all seriousness i feel i have completely psyched myself out with 7. But i have to give it a crack. Maybe this weekend will be the one, my wife is out in the afternoon so i can scream and sob in solitude and pretend nothing ever happened, before attempting to function as a normal human being in the evening.

You played 7 before, or would playing it in VR be your very first play through?

I'm currently half way through in VR but helps I completed it before and got some special Wesker gun, while only having 3 rounds per mag, is powerful as strawberry float.

It would be my first play-through. Your method sounds like a good one, but my backlog is a bit out of control, so i vowed not to play anything through more than once. That may prove hard as i am playing Detroit right now, and that kind of demands a second play-through in some ways.

Left it until today to buy it, so the cdkeys price is a nice surprise. I wasn’t going to bother with the Deluxe Edition, but as they’re selling it for the same price as the standard edition elsewhere, might as well.
