I don't think I'd enjoy the process although maybe when I've done a run with Claire and then the survivors stuff I might consider it. It's impressive though.

I bought the old OST for it, only way I could get through it, the game was too intense before putting the familiar sounds to the game.

Finally got round to playing this the other day after picking it up when it was like £8 on amazon. It's proper gruesome in places :dread: The Mr X intro in the jail :dread: I wish there was a bit more consistency to how many bullets a zombie can take, though! :slol: Sometime's I've got them down in two, others they'll take about 12 and *still* get back up! First time I did the Ada section in the sewers I ran out of bullets and still had like two zombies shambling around. RIP. The breakable knife mechanic is awful, so I reckon the first thing I'll be trying to unlock is the invincible one :slol:

Zombies, by their very nature, are inconsistent.

The breakable knife mechanic is excellent and was sorely missed from 3. It makes you think about combat more and prevents you using simple grounding techniques for zombies over and over.

I've actually been guiding my girlfriend through this over the past few days. She's doing remarkably well and up to the electronic parts section has only died once. I was very surprised she didn't die at Birkin 1. Ammo is a bit low and I don't think she would have made it this far without me but so far so good!

Nah it makes it far more irritating than it should be to determine when a zombie is no longer a threat. The game's stressful enough as it is without the breakable knives making it worse

Just did the third Birkin fight on my third attempt, and the game crashed immediately afterwards :x first crash at the worst possible time!

Zombies having random health bars was something I loved about the game. The uncertainty it gave the decision to fight or run added perfectly to the tension.

It's the greatest survival horror game I think I've ever played.

There is another one like this later. Incredible game.

Finding the 2nd run quite a bit harder. Smaller inventory, more random pick ups so you can’t stick it all in and fewer save locations. Oh, and all the enemies out straight off the bat. Tough.

Why would anyone spend nearly a grand on that gooseberry fool? Lickers are intentionally physically repulsive.

I bought this again on PSN since it's in the sale. Can someone remind me how the scenarios work again? I've already completed it with Leon, so what's different about Claire's scenario?

Claire and Leon's scenarios both have characters, items and cutscenes unique to each other. A and B scenarios determine the order of exploration and item placement as well as new bosses.

It's absolutely worth playing both scenarios as both characters to see all of the variation.

It's a different route through the game with items in different places and keys unlocking different doors. There's also a different subplot because of the different secondary character which also comes with some different locations.

It's definitely worth playing through both scenarios I think.if
