Resident Evil 2 Remake | Review Scores Within Stranger

I've only been playing in relatively short bursts.

I'm at 5 hours and just got to the sewers on Leon A, with 24 saves.
I'm playing on Assisted difficulty with a walkthrough :shifty:

start of original RE2 where you explore the city for bit before the police station. It's lot shorter in this.

Other than that though I'm liking new places, the Ada section is cool, and I can't wait to do Clarie B then ClarieA/B

Yeah areas from the start of the original have been shifted to later parts of the game (Kendos Gun Store with Leon and your trip to the orphanage as Claire) with the gas station and orphanage being totally new areas)

To be honest, the A/B runs in this game isn't that much different, unlike the original. You'll see what I mean when you get there.

Still, more RE2 goodness.

I wouldn't be surprised if they stripped back the outdoor city environments somewhat in this to make Resident Evil 3 stand out more. They already get to reuse the police station next time.

Won't mind that. As long as we get RE3 remake :wub:

Surprised that Leon didn't get Heart key in this though, in original he does (according to re2 wiki anyway)

I just don’t know why Leon can’t just use the shotgun to blast the doors open. Would make speedruns lot more easier lol.

Leon A done on Standard difficulty, over 8 hours and 34 saves so C rank.

Will start Clarie B soon.

Threw me off guard when it went Fine to Danger in one go...

That seems like Hardcore.

It usually takes two/three bites for me for Claire’s HP to be like that on normal. Two pair of zombies want to have a threesome usually take fine down to danger sometimes.

I'm playing on Standard, so I'm not sure why it got to that. Maybe I'm just unlucky :slol:

The second half of B is lot easier than first half, that's for sure -- but as whole package I loved it.

Will do Clarie A/Leon B soon, only if to get better feeling of the game before I try my luck with Hardcore :dread:

You should just jump to hardcore now.

Claire A done, under 5hrs so got my first A rank. Doing Leon B and Jesus I'm horrible at B runs.

Is there a reliable way to deal with the fat strawberry floaters in the sewer, I strawberry floating hate them.
