I wouldn't quite use the word phenomenal but it's probably one of the few games that the majority hated that I enjoyed.

I had a lot of fun with RE6 in co-op, but fatigue definitely started to set in by the time we finished the third campaign, and then it threw in Ada's on top of that. RE5 is a good game.

Is it time for a list again?

For me, yes.

I loved the direction they took the series.

Unfortunately, I don't think it sold all that well, so expect it to go back to the regular style for 8.

I like REmake the most, then Resi 4.

REmake is my favourite.

At the time I played it on the GC, RE4 was my favourite. Try and play it now on the PC though and unbelievably, the controls seem terrible.

I liked Resi 5 too. I've done I think two or three campaigns in Resi 6 so far but we haven't finished off Jake's yet. The massive borders on the splitscreen and the tiny interface sort of ruin it when we're playing locally. And typically if we're playing online it's Halo

No mention of a fixed camera option.

I agree with that. 7 all the way for me. It's not perfect but I love it.

I hope this remake comes with an easy version for people like me that just want to experience the story without all the frustration of constantly getting killed due to having no ammo or health. And yes,I'm well aware that's defeating the point but my 40 year old heart really doesn't cope well with anxiety.

With the way modern gaming is, you will probably be able to purchase additional ammo for the low low price of £5 a bullet.
