Resident Evil 2 Remake | Review Scores Within Stranger

Yeah I spent a good 5 minutes in the STARS rooms when I realised he doesn't enter other rooms as well. Never actually got killed by him and used a specific route back and forth all the time. Once I came back to the RPD i then cleared out a few other rooms.

Just started RE Zero on the PS4.

It’s disjarring me that a zombie can be killed after 4-5 bullets, on Normal difficulty.

To answer your earlier question the Alien is virtually always there in Isolation. At times you could swear the game is outright cheating.

People are having a vastly different experience with Mr. X than I did. He only really bothered me once, in Claire B when I had to quickly bolt past him while getting the electronic locks.

Fairly sure the Alien in Alien is "tethered" to you. Not as in it's always hunting you - but it'll always been in/near the area of the station you're in rather than on the other side of this.

I got about 4 hours into Isolation and stopped because I didn't really like it. Which is sad, because the atmosphere is top notch. I hated the Xenomorph and what they did with it.

Mr X sounds a little bit different in execution, from you lot are describing.

That sounds believable. There were times in my playthrough where it was behind me and had definitely lost my trail only for me to open a door to find it waiting on the other side for me.

I thought the game was cheating but it kinda makes sense considering the late game plot reveal

I’m conflicted over Mr X. It adds massively to the fear factor, but also spoils the way I like to play the Resi series. Also, he looks like such a twat.

And he definitely cheated last night. I watched him go through a door ahead, so I walked round the corner, knowing it was safe. But the bastard was magically there again.

From what I've of him in videos - this. The rest of the game seems to be quite serious in tone and character design/outfits, but then you've got this trench-coated Inspector Gadget on steroids, looks ridiculous.
