Honestly I quite like the whole package, exterior design included! Each to their own of course.

While my next car certainly won’t be electric (the one after that probably won’t be either depending on what I get next), but something like the Honda E certainly interests me, the price (of probably nearing £30k) and the range of apparently 125 miles just puts me off even considering it at the moment as I do a few journeys of about 200 ish miles each year and ideally I’d like to get through that without the need to charge it.

I like it :shifty: .

If I had a driving licence I'd buy it.

Had 2 awesome days at Goodwood Festival of Speed on Friday and Saturday. Great weather (hot and sunny both days unlike today from what I've seen).

Took almost 700 photos, including a decent close up of Reubens Barrichello in the F1 Pit Lane. Also saw Vicki Butler Henderson up close (always fancied her).

3rd time I've done FOS, each for 2 days. Going again next year no doubt. It's such a great place to be with tons to see and hear.

Highly recommend anyone with even a slight interest in cars to go. It's not that expensive, especially if you consider how many hours you're there and what you see in that time.

Always thought about going to the Goodwood FOS but never actually got round to it yet, should probably change that at some point.

Went to have a look at the MX-5 RF today and it's really nice, though the radio aerial sticking out on one side kind of spoils the look I think. Can't even remember the last time I saw a car with an aerial sticking out of it.

Think I'm going to wait another year or so until the finance on my TT is done though. From the looks of things the PCP is in about £3k negative equity so might as well wait a year and just hand it back. Was a bit surprised at it being that much given that I'm about 15k miles under the limit.
An extra year will probably give me some more potential options as well, especially with electric.

infiniti called me today following up, when I was in there the other week they had a few brand new top spec demo cars so I asked them to put my name down as first refusal on one of those, should hear something around november

expecting a good deal as they told me that they are pre-regging the current £46k+ cars and now marking them straight down to £35k to clear stock

I actually like the Ariel on the MX-5’s, just adds a bit of character to it in my opinion.

Good deal on the Infiniti if you can get one for just over £10 grand off the list price.

I think part of my problem is with it being on one side so the symmetry of the exterior is ruined :x

Ugh, I loathe Infinitis. They're uglier Nissans, with a false sense of superiority, built by Mackems.

Not too bad looking I think.

I’d prefer Volvo S60. :datass:

I've been 3 times now I think, each one going up Thursday afternoon and camping until the Monday morning, can't reccomend it enough. We've camped at both sites, and the best one by far is right by the goodwood pub, and one of the entrances. Not even a 5 min walk. Best thing is that most of the drivers just walk out of that entrance becuase the swanky hotel is just passed the pub, so by sitting in the pub garden you can meet quite a few people (we got chatting to Ken Block there once for example). Also, if you go right to the top of the hill where the cars wait after completing their runs before being sent back down, you can meet tonnes of drivers there. Also a lot of random people, we met Keanu Reeves one year and that ginger kid from Harry potter. I've got all 3 years of programmes with the covers full of autographs. Got some cool pics with people too.
