There is only me and Harry currently bringing activity to the topic you should be grateful for my stringing.

I'm getting close to going for a C220 so I think I've got to exile myself from the thread forever.

Seems like the collection date is going to be next Saturday 30th May, when I pick up my lame Focus ST/Scirocco hybrid.

The Dodge is used for the dog and as a people transporter. The A6 is an excellent car, but isn't really mine either. Cars that I would consider were mine are:

Ford Capri
Ford Orion 1.6i Ghia (basically an XR3i with a boot)
Ford Orion 1.8 LXi
Alfa 156
BMW 3 coupe

With the exception of the 1.8LXi, all were pretty cool for the times I got them. But your "also runs" are nice too. 8-)

Hey whatever helps you sleep at night mate

My Scirocco is basically a Scirocco R with a different engine and body.

The only cool ones Id concede there are the Capri, which I love - what engine was it? Dont give me that tiny engine bullshit. And the Alfa, because Alfa, natch.

It doesn't, the 1987 model was pretty much as I said.

Originally it was 1.6 but when I killed it, had it replaced with a rebuilt 2 litre. I was a student at the time and funds were low.

The BMW is a great car and if I had the room for it, I'd be keeping it. It's replacement will be off the cool scale though and if you don't agree, probably best you find a new hobby.

Capris are super cool. Theres a guy I work with who has an awesome black one, looks better than showroom condition. He only brings it out on the very sunniest and driest days in summer. So jelly.

I don't think I could ever go back to one though, regardless of condition. I had mine for 6 years. Step into a modern car and you think "why did I keep it for so long"?

No power steering. *shudder*

You guys can keep your Bmws, mercs and other cool and fast cars.

After much deliberation (Read: trying to find a car the missus will drive) we picked up our latest car today.

I've almost not posted this due to it being super uncool and embarrassing.I

We now own.... A Honda Jazz.

It's probably an ok car. My Hyundai Getz has been brilliant. If I'm honest with myself, I don't need a new car, I just want one.
