I think yellow suits some cars :shifty:

Some it does look awful on though

Yellow on a Lotus Elise I will allow but beyond that the valid options start to drop rapidly!

Lotus Elise are just a great looking car anyway, bet there’s some paint-jobs out there that look bad on them but can’t imagine there’s many! I actually think some Ferrari’s look quite good in yellow, maybe as it makes a change from the typical red the brand is associated with?

I mean it's certainly well known for being yellow, but lets face it the thing looks pretty awful in any colour!

Saw one today in a not-cheap-looking shade of orange, with blue/purple grilles and polished alloys. Looked absolutely stunning.

The Elise is just a gorgeous car  I’m sure they’ve shot up in value though :( Probably won’t be in a position to ever buy one but I’m sure a few years back used cars weren’t as much as they are now :dread: Cheapest Elise on Autotrader is just under £18k.

I briefly considered one a few years ago, when prices were reasonable. Never got to the point of working out the finances, but decided I couldn’t justify the cost, even if I could afford it. And I also realised I probably wouldn’t be able to get in and out of it.

Same here. I always fancied one like this:

I know a guy who had one of the first gen ones, and he was minted, yet couldn't afford to have it as it just cost a fortune any time anything needed doing.

It doesn't seem to give specific details about any car there. What's the trim level? Engine size? Fuel type? Mileage?

I know, they’re only example prices. They don’t list actual stock. Presumably it’s just to get you through the door so they can hard-sell like you car dealer bastards do.

But whatever the spec/mileage, £4999 for a 4-year-old Mondeo seems crazy cheap.

I reversed my car into a skip like an idiot and not only that, damaged the most complicated bit of the tailgate. £500 to fix. :dread:

On the same day I also tapped the side of a campervan and smashed the glass on my wing mirror. Good job my wing mirror closes otherwise the whole thing might have been buggered. I have no idea what I hit as I looked for damage with the owner and we couldn't see anything. Just glad it wasn't another car as that could have been a disaster. :shifty:

Looks absolutely gorgeous

Meanwhile I’m fully embracing the shedding lifestyle of car ownership as I can’t actually decide what I want next :fp:

Nice. Costs less than I thought it would. Driver’s seat is a bit of a state, though.

Get them to sweeten the deal by replacing the rear tyres.
