I’ll try the toothpaste first, my headlights aren’t terribly bad but definitely bad enough to be noticeable now the nights are drawing in. If toothpaste doesn’t work I’ll bust out the T-cut!

Entered the BOTB spot the ball for the first time last week.
....I don't think I've won the AMG A45s I'd picked out :(

He'd have been here by now.

Absolutely gutted. :slol:

I’ve always just thought/presumed that BOTB thing was just a scam, no information to back it up with but it just seems a little too good to be true

Well the toothpaste kind of works? This is the results after one application (got plenty left so will probably do another lot over the next couple of days). Probably not as good as an actual kit but for the price of a tube of toothpaste and a bit of time I can’t really complain at the results.

Admittedly they don’t look quite as good once they’ve properly dried but still better than before.

They look great; vast improvement.

I think if you use increasingly fine wet and dry paper as well then eventually you'll get the 'finished' look you're after. I have been looking at this too as mine are a bit foggy as well.

I’ve just used j cloths so far, as I said I might continue doing the same till the tube of toothpaste is gone but if I’m still unhappy I might get a proper kit, or bust out the T-Cut like LewisD suggested. Or just get a sponge and use the rougher side with the toothpaste?

Does infotainment really matter? Like what do you even do with it, play some music and maybe use the map? If it's really that bad you can just use a phone, which is almost always better and more responsive.

Also wtf inifiniti went out of business?

I don't I set the playlist for songs and my gps if I need it before I go and that's it. The only adjustment you really ever need to make is either the volume which can be done with the knob on the radio, or to switch the audio source from radio to bluetooth or whatever, which again is done with a button.

I mean if the physical sound system was bad that's a different story, but just the infotainment system itself being listed as a con is odd for me.

Time to visit the vet again, I have to put her in a pet carrier so that I won't have a hard time cleaning his fur.

I was thinking about that car the other day. I wonder what happened to it once it left the country (all records of it stopped there).

Anyone in here own an electric car?

I decided today to order myself an e208 so looking forward to driving past the queue at my local supermarket petrol station. The other half got a 2nd hand Mini the other week and it has a range of 200 miles on a full tank, and she asked me to drive it for the first few weeks and I think it has cured my range anxiety (given my commute is 40 miles round trip daily).

Also the new 208 is a very nice looking car.

Never driven an electric car, personally one would suit me quite well as my commute is a round trip of 26 miles for work, then the odd trip of 140 miles throughout the year. If I had a certain spot on the drive for a charger to be installed I’d have probably given it a lot more thought.

Saying that though I’m constantly talking myself out of looking at new cars, plenty of stuff I like the look of but can’t quite justify it when my car has no real major issues (just a small list of minor ones!).

There a nice looking car. I wanted to go electric to make full use of the solar panels I'm having installed but I went a bit (a lot) over my mileage on the PCP and managed to do a deal with BMW that effectively wipes out my debt.
