Reverse horror game Carrion has sold over 200,000 copies sold since its launch across Xbox One, Switch, and PC via Steam on July 23, and has been played by “hundreds of thousands of players” on Xbox Game Pass, publisher Devolver Digital and developer Phobia Game Studio announced.

Bought this on Switch for a tenner thanks to a gold points discount. Looks ace.

Finished this last night. Thought it was chuffing brilliant. It's a little too easy to get lost. In between sessions I forgot which way I was heading and ended up having to find a map online to workout where I started from. The in game "hint" ability doesn't really help at all when this happens but this only happened once. It did however stop me from wanting to backtrack and find the extras as I knew I'd get lost again. Will probably do that with a map later on today. Regardless, absolutely brilliant.

I think it took me 6 hours +. You could probably do it in just over an hour if you know what you're doing. But half of the fun is exploring and slowly taking down targets.

The lack of a map is strawberry floating annoying.

Returned to this today after quite a while away and I was completely lost and stumped as to where to go or what to do. Quite a frustrating 30 minutes I spent just aimlessly slipping from screen to screen - no enemies to devour, no switches to flick, no puzzles to solve :?

Ah well, back on the digital shelf it goes.

This happened to me when I had a week between playing, completely forgot where I had to go  Probably just going to start again tbh

A metroidvania without a map is a crime, one small edition would have made it a 10/10 game for me. I still think it's an amazing game but I don't know if they are going to patch it/still work on it.

Yeah, I got lost and got fed up aimlessly wandering screen to screen.

Fun whilst it lasted (for me) anyway

My physical copy of the Super Limited Games edition arrived today. Supposed to arrive in Q3/4 last year but at least it's here now. I paid £30 for mine and it's currently going for £80 + on eBay.

It's a great little package and comes with stickers, art print and a little soft plastic monster.

Such a great concept for a game and executed so well. If it had an in game map it would have been perfect.

The Xbox and Switch versions have been updated with the Christmas DLC. It’s late, but it’s free.

Xbox update is live now. Don’t know about Switch.

The lack of a map is really bizzare. No idea why it's still not been fixed. Hopefully a sequel will fix the games only major issue.
