Well strawberry float that. Katic is one of the other main reasons I watch the show. Beckett is a really good character plus she is stunning :datass:

I'm not quite sure what I'm going to think of the show being shortened but also without Beckett in it. It seems a bit wrong and the show really if it ends at some point should go with a bang rather than a gradual death. They'll have to write some good stuff to cut her out and continue the show at a high standard.

Sorta glad, I was going to stop watching after this season anyway. It's definitely run its course, and that was before Stana Katic left

No way , I'm gutted about that. I watch the show every week there is a new episode. Disappointed it's finishing ,my only good thought about it is that it would have been weird without Beckett being in it. I might have to rewatch these from the start .

Like I said in the other thread, the allegations put against Nathan Fillion of bullying killed this I think.

Hmm i was quite surprised about all that. I did read some article as well though in regards to the fact that both of them did not get on anymore with each other but i have heard these kind of rumours about loads of shows including x files which later Gillian Anderson said was a load of rubbish. It will be interesting to hear the true story from one of them in an interview.

Yeah I'm interested to see what comes of it. I really like both of the actors so I'd be a bit pissed off if anything comes out of it. For her part Katic has been quiet about the whole thing since the story broke. Sounds like a personality clash more than anything else.

Yeah i did also notice Fillion has now gone very quiet recently on twitter, he usually sent messages on a daily basis but it's all died down.

Was obviously intended to be a cliffhanger after they got shot. Must have filmed those final 20 seconds as a contingency plan in case they were cancelled

Don't agree with this. The core Beckett mystery and 3XK episodes were mostly fantastic. They should have ended it when Beckett took down Bracken

Just caught up with this at last. Sad to see it go as it's been one of my favourite shows over the last 6 years. Always thought Fillion and Katic knocked it out of the park each week, the way the cast bounce of each other isn't something you see that much. Some really fun memorable episodes, some whacky, some serious.

Shame the ending was rushed though.

I loved this show so much and as you say Drumstick the cast had such a good connection it seemed and the acting flowed really well. I loved the show much like Psych i would say as sometimes it went serious,sometimes wacky but always had that funny tone bubbling underneath. I really hated that ending though , so bloody rushed it just made me angry.

My favourite other show which finished a few years ago was Burn Notice and that finished perfectly i felt. It is hard to end some shows but you can obviously tell it was like quick lets wrap this up and get it over with.

I had no idea that it had been cancelled or that it was the last episode until those last 20 seconds.

Very disappointed with the ending and the transition between the final two scenes. I understand why they did it bit IMO they should have either cut the shooting scene and gone straight from the guys leaving the precinct to the 7 years later bit, or have the shooting scene and not the 7 years later bit and leave it as a cliffhanger.
