What an actual banana split.

And Big Brother didn't stop him from doing this? :?

I honestly think they should kick the banana split out for doing that. If he had done that to me and I found out afterwards I would stomp all over his head.

And now he's going to tell him... :|

"Feels bad". He's only telling him because without him knowing it doesn't have any effect on him (until he comes out and finds out). What a banana split. Tin Man nees to strawberry float him up.

The abs guy didn't even seem to care when the chap told him he had given him sweat to drink. He actually thought he had said piss at first and seemed OK with that... :fp:

...all this he saw, for one moment breathless and intense, vivid on the morning sky; and still, as he looked, he lived; and still, as he lived, he wondered.

Keeping cool because of the cameras. He'll have his revenge when they get out.

Also watching this new Big Brother's Big Mouth (or whatever it's called) and the state of Pete Burns.... He looks like a cross between Jodie Marsh, Marilyn Manson and the zombie woman from [REC]. Gonna have some nightmares tonight.

Bobby has to go tonight after his banana splitish antics of last night. I mean it wasn't even the funny kind of banana splitish antics that makes you want to keep someone in. Though with this new Vote to save system he'll probably survive.

I'm told tonight's eviction won't be like any we've seen before. Can't say any more, but it'll be good TV, I promise!

From a Daily Star writer.

Channel 5 executives are ‘over the moon’ by how Celebrity Big Brother has rated for the broadcaster so far.

Celebrity Big Brother launched on Channel 5 last Thursday with an average of 5.2m (22%), the channel’s biggest ever non-sporting audience, and has gone on to average 2.9m (14%) in its first full week for the broadcaster.

The strong performance for the reality series has helped Channel 5, which has traditionally been Britain’s least watched terrestrial network, beat former Big Brother broadcaster Channel 4 in the primetime shares every single night since last Thursday. Since Thursday 18th August, Channel 5 has been the third most popular broadcaster in primetime (7-11pm) with a 7.5% share, ahead of fourth-placed BBC2 (7.1%) and last-placed Channel 4 (5.2%).

This marks a huge turnaround for the Richard Desmond-owned TV station, which has normally averaged about 5% in the primetime shares in recent years. Celebrity Big Brother has driven up Channel 5’s total audience for its top twenty programs to 32.2 million viewers over the last week, beating its usually bigger rival Channel 4, whose top twenty shows tallied 29.5 million, according to ratings agency BARB.

Furthermore, Celebrity Big Brother has rated significantly higher than Channel 5’s year-to-date 9pm slot average of 1.6m (6%) and 10pm average of 1.2m (6%). Among the coveted 16-34 advertiser friendly demographic, the rise has been even more impressive, with CBB’s 16-34 average of 0.9m so far being over three times higher than Channel 5’s year-to-date 16-34 9pm and 10pm slot averages of 0.2m and 0.3m. Celebrity Big Brother’s success with viewers aged 16-34 is said to be crucial to brands like Dominos Pizza, Disney, Lucozade and Freederm who have flocked to the channel to exploit a number of new cross-media opportunities being developed around the TV show.

Speaking to respected industry publication The Hollywood Reporter, media commentator Stephen Price says: ‘This is a big opportunity for Channel 5 to get the lucrative 16-34 audiences it doesn’t normally attract, as well as add some volume to its overall share.’

Price adds that if Big Brother continues to rate well for its new broadcaster, Channel 5 could potentially overtake its closest rival Channel 4 in share, which would mark one of the most significant shifts in British television broadcasting in decades.

‘For the two big beasts ITV1 and BBC1, this doesn’t really represent a massive challenge. But Channel 4 might feel some heat. It’s a bit of a double whammy for them, losing Big Brother and then it seemingly doing well elsewhere,’ said Price.

So far, Celebrity Big Brother has comfortably beaten Channel 4’s programmes head to head on every single night, at times with over double the number of viewers than C4. A Channel 4 spokesman, however, defended their ratings by saying that they cancelled the show last year for ‘creative reasons’.

A C4 spokesperson said: ‘We’ve always known that Celebrity Big Brother could still do a job in ratings terms, but we chose to decommission it for creative reasons. The show had gone as far as it could creatively and the hours freed up by cancelling it means we are able to try many new things.

‘In the last week alone we’ve had a season of programs on Street Art and Debbie Tucker Green’s critically acclaimed Random. These aren’t big raters but they add to the quality and diversity of the channel.’

Although ratings for Celebrity Big Brother have now settled between 2-3 million viewers, down from last week’s launch of over 5 million, Channel 5’s Head of programming Jeff Ford insists that this was expected.

Ford says: ‘No one expects it to stay at that [launch] level. To pull in these audiences [2-3m] every night for a single show is real result for the channel and is well above our slot average.’

Although Ford says that it’s still too early to say for sure that Channel 5′s acquisition of Big Brother has been a success, he said that executives at the broadcaster had thus far been ‘over the moon’ by how the show had been performing.

Celebrity Big Brother continues tonight at 9pm.

My recording cut off at the end when Brian mentioned a surprise guest at the weekend, any info after that?

Would prefer Kerry went but out of Sally and Bobby I'm happy for Bobby to stay as he's probably more entertaining barring the sweat incident.

Didn't like the housemates being able to hear the cheering/booing when Brian read out the nominees. May affect housmates nominations.

Wow. Talk about perfectly timed channel hopping. That Essex girl was just making scrambled eggs in a pretty loose bikini...

I turned it on while eating my tea.

Amy was on during the bit you mentioned I was torn between being turned on by how attractive she is and how she is mind numbingly stupid

Also her voice grates!
