I used to love The Big Breakfast. Johnny Vaughn and Denise Van Outen were fantastic together. Nothing since has bettered it for morning telly.

I don't know if this is a myth, but I have heard that it is written into the Channel 4 constitution that Shaun Ryder cannot appear on the channel in a live broadcast. :lol:

Seriously though I wasn't actually picking on DML, I was having a conversation about the Crystal Maze coming back and the Big Breakfast was mentioned as a show we'd love to see again. Which led to a conversation about other shows that have come back and then I remembered this thread and thought I'd answer DML's pub quiz.

Doesn't change the fact it was the rule. Channel 4 are just desperate these days! They often fall behind Channel 5 in the ratings. Fifteen To One was the first proper recommission ever not including specials.
