Every episode is a standalone story so I don't see any problem watching season 3 first.

Watch S3E1 last night, it was good but a) I've seen community and b) it felt too simple for a full episode. I was waiting for a black mirror style twist or escalation which didn't happen - it was clear where the story was going early on and then you just watched it go there.

I appreciated the final scene though, I liked what they were going for.

Watching series 2 myself. Be Right Back was so tragic.

San Junipero is the first so far to have failed to grab me completely. I get it. But it was boring.

I'd say San Junipero is my favourite, having watched all but the last episode. The ending sequence is magnificent.

3x01 was my personal idea of hell. :dread:

3x02 felt like a waste of time. The episode would have been more powerful if it had ended with the penultimate ending with the guy going back home and discovering his mother had gotten early on-set Alzheimers in the year he'd been away. Hideo Kojima just going "Oh we've killed another one" didn't work for me.

3x03 was bleak as hell and really benefited from the lack of magic future technology. It was basically White Bear again though.

Started watching this week from episode 1 season 1. It's very good but feels a bit preachy, like Brooker could really end each episode Arrested Development style saying "that's what happens when you get obsessed with celebrity" etc.

Just finished the third episode of the new season, blimey, that has totally stressed me out :lol:

It did leave me feeling quite cold, similar to the Virtual Reality game episode where he doesn't know who he is anymore.

Prior to season 3 White Christmas was my favourite Black Mirror ep.

Just finished watching the entire run. Brilliant stuff overall. The order I watched them in was whack, though. Started with season 3, then the christmas special on christmas day (that was fun), then season 1 & 2 in order. :lol:

Can't wait for more. Hard to pin down my favourite episode of the lot. Probably between Shut Up & Dance, Be Right Back, Men Against Fire and White Christmas.
