At the end, when his wife went upstairs, indicating that his marriage was ruined after all, I was really hoping he'd go into the next room and the pig would be there. And he'd smile at it affectionately.

I was actually expecting this to happen.

It's one of those shows though I will never need to watch again, there wasn't enough meat and the characters were instantly forgettable. That blonde girl at the hospital, how long was the staff sitting there for?

The finger bit stuck immediately

Pretty much the same as I felt about it. One of those programs that I really enjoyed watching but looking back the plot holes were pretty big. I'd also guessed the twist because as soon as they mentioned the contoversial art show being closed early it seemed that was the way it was going to go. Didn't make sense for terrorists or for it to be political which left a stunt, when you kept seeing shots of a lone artist that confirmed it for me. That said I wasn't sure exactly how it was all going to play out just who was behind it. That's why plot holes aside I enjoyed the premise and the over all look at how technology now shapes things.

I enjoyed it, I thought the premise was ace and it was very well acted and shot. When is the next part on? Next Sunday?

I just couldn't get over the fact that there was no chance in a million years that the perpetrator would be able to kidnap a high profile member of the Royal Family like that. There was no handlers, CCTV footage or press following her WTF. I don't really believe it would be that easy to remain anonymous on-line with that level of scrutiny on you especially for someone who is likely not a IT security expert. It seemed like the UK government relied on one IT specialist.

Also I'm not sure I really buy into the central premiss of the show, I not sure I would want to watch David Cameron screwing a pig even if it was 'history'.

It was quite funny and enjoyable but I had a real problem with the logistics of what happened with the princess.

They said that her security had been sedated, so presumably he used tranq darts and went all Deus Ex on them.

It was alright, though as others have said there are some bits that just make you think '...what', like the hospital staff sitting there all day, the ability of an artist to be able to kidnap a princess, the pub being that full all day long. :shifty:

Plus I'm not sure why they had the bit showing that his marriage was ruined by it. Didn't really add anything, we never really knew anything about his wife other than she knew how to use Twitter.

But it was still well made and I'll definitely be watching the other two.

Watched this last night. It was very 'Popcorn', but I enjoyed it.

Following Brooker on Twitter, it's pretty easy to imagine that he really would quite like to see David Cameron strawberry floating a pig.

Finally caught up with this on 4oD. Wish I hadn't, that was possibly the stupidest thing I've ever seen on TV, and I once watched an entire episode of My Super Sweet 16.

It felt like a plot from an episode of South Park, except it wasn't funny, and I suspect it was actually trying to be serious. How anyone managed to keep a straight face whilst filming it is beyond me. It all seems to hinge on the idea that everyone is glued to the internet or 24 hour news coverage all day every day, but most people aren't.

Didn't even care about the other plotholes people have pointed out, because there's no way that had she been released in London at 3.30pm, she wouldn't have been seen. Not everyone has nothing better to do than watch the strawberry floating news, no matter what the story is, and the Millennium Bridge is never that empty for that long.

Definitely won't be watching the rest.

Girl at work told me about this. She said - would you strawberry float a pig to save my life?

I very nobly stated that i would!

That was an amazing episode. It reminded me of Fahrenheit 451 with its walls made of TV screens.

That was a lot better than last week's. Bit long, and slow to get going, with a slightly laboured point they were trying to get across, but much more effective on all levels than what was really just a dumb, nonsensical episode last week.

A lot better this week, and I liked The National Anthem too. A bit heavy handed on occasion but generally subtler with better performances too.
