The second and third ones were just far too slow for my liking. It was like a non story. The first one was brilliant though and actually felt like it was going somewhere.

The latest was really sad. As someone who has previously been insecure in a relationship (well before I manned the hell up, obviously), I can totally see how you'd drive yourself insane with that sort of thing.

I think they 3rd one > first one > second one, but I enjoyed them all and there certainly isn't enough of this sort of thing on TV. Short, creative, enjoyable. Reasonably thought-provoking, even if many of the points were made with a sledgehammer.

The ambition may have outweighed some of the execution, but I mean, in a world where the otherwise-enjoyable Masterchef decides to stretch its final out to four hour-long episodes, I think we should all be able to find room for stuff like this.

As much as I like Brooker, the 3rd made his screenwriting seem amateur. It was clever, well acted, and the futuristic conceit took a back seat over the real story of human interaction and relationships.

I really thought it was quite crushing and very well done. Not sure how I felt that his paranoia turned out to be justified- but it was cleverly done. The bit when he first walked into the party room and she was chatting to the other guy... as an audience you're trained to go 'oi oi, something's going on there'... but if you were in that situation, you'd use trust and rationality to convince yourself that there's nothing going on.

It really was very interesting.

Completely agree.

I was expecting the line of junk memories to have more weight to it, make it a bit more ambiguous. Otherwise I thought it was great, and a lot better than "Twitter would make the PM strawberry float a pig!" and "Xfactor fame and all that."
