Just watched the third one. Definitely the better of the 3, I thought. Really interesting.

Channel 4 has commissioned a second series of Charlie Brooker’s Black Mirror plays.

The Screenwipe presenter is writing another three hour-long episodes, which will be filmed next month.

Watched the first episode of this. Great stuff, looking forward to seeing the others.

So Brooker is doing all three episodes this time? No more Jesse Armstrong after his episode was undoubtedly the best of the first three?

I don't think they're all Brooker's, it's more like a Quentin Tarantino Presents... kinda deal.

I enjoyed that immensely, but I dunno if it needed to go as far as it did. Surely they could've gone the route of him being around but through other technology.

It ended up just reminding me of the Futurama episode when Bender becomes human.

Well acted, mind.

Very good start to the series, very creepy. Having Hayley Atwell as the woman was the cherry on top. She's lovely.

I thought it was a bit ridiculous tbh. I get how the show tries to make us consider the morals around future technologies, but I just didn't believe the scenario for this episode. would you think an artificial intelligence of someone you lost, help make grieving easier? maybe, but at the same time being a realist, i just could personally never accept it. it's like ai by steven spielberg, how can you have affection for some replica artificial version of a real person or rather allow it as a substitute to cope to move on. It seems so fake and in a sense disrespectful to the actual person who's gone. Trying to convince yourself the person is still in your life. madness imo.

Exactly. All they needed was a simple line from the friend saying the service was designed to be able to say goodbye to loved ones when you previously didn't have a chance.

Well that was quite disturbing. Very enjoyable though.
