Just watched Bandersnatch, that was fantastic

Think we saw all the endings, but there is plenty of stuff we didn't get to going off the "amount watched" bar on netflix.

I especially loved the constant digs the script had directly at the player

I'm okay with three if they're entirely new concepts. They've done the cookie stuff to death now.

It's a stretch but Netflix are apparently going to be at E3, with the presumption being they are going to be announcing and showing games based on their shows. I wouldn't put it past Brooker to have a hand in a Black Mirror game. Might explain why there's only three episodes if he's focused on something else.

Edit: I just though what a Black Mirror VR game could be like and now I'm going to be disappointed if they don't make one.

The first episode was good but the second episode bored the gooseberry fool out of me... saving the Miles Cyrus episode for tomorrow night... put off by it being yet another “cookie” episode but hopefully it’s good

I’ve only seen the first episode so far. Less of a headfuck than some Black Mirror’s, but was a fun look at how VR is going to strawberry float up relationships and friendships.

Enjoyed that episode.

My take was that the larger bearded guy used the VR system to live out his fantasies of strawberry floating his friend (there's a scene where he strarts to dry hump him on the couch when they were younger).

The smaller guy just has fantasies about strawberry floating other women, but his gay friend controlling the avatar is the only chance for him to experience anything that feels genuine.

Just realised I watched them in reverse order but no matter, liked the VR one, bored to death of the social media one and thought the Miley Cyrus one was quite good... problem is none of them felt like black Mirror... I want twist strawberry floated up endings with young children getting murdered then a guinea pig catching the killer, I want people to suffer an eternity living In exile listening to terrible Christmas songs, and finding out the main star is a paedo... that’s Black Mirror, nearly always strawberry floated up

I just finished the Miley Cyrus one, which I thought was strawberry floating horrendous.

The social media one was okay but just a bit... pointless.

The VR one was a fairly interesting idea with a solid trio of actors and strong script.
