Really enjoyed it. The story itself was a whole load of nothing, but it was cool to have seamless choices coming in (didn't have any pauses or loading screens). I think we only got one part where we were forced to watch the same bit again.

Cool concept, and shows we could have actual games like the tell tale ones on Netflix.

Telltale’s Minecraft Story Mode is already on Netflix. I haven’t tried it, so I’m not sure if is been simplified from the console version.

Thought it was okay, but I'd agree with Sat that it was a bit of a mess. I got looped back round so many times.

I appreciate it would literally require the creation of multiple entire films, but I would have much preferred to have fewer choices that split the story off into entirely different directions, taking you to outcomes that are wholly separate from each other.

Hah no way, I'll look out for that.

Have to agree fewer choices with bigger impact to the story would of been better.

Still think it's a good first go and an interesting concept, I loved the pick your own adventure books when I was younger.

Well I have just watched it and I strawberry floating loved it. Its one of those things that will either be a great or bad experience based on your first run through. I think we had lots of restarts but it feels seemless, like a Sci fi feedback loop.

If you hate it, then I think you are gooseberry fool at vidja games and need to git gud.

I'd rather have a interactive Christmas/New Year ScreenWipe.

Some people commenting on Bandersnatch called Will "ugly" for his appearance in the show.

I thought Bandersnatch was shite, but he was good in it, and calling him for his appearance is low. Theres nothing wrong with his appearance.

I thought that was brilliant for the most part. Felt I followed the “right path”, reaching Colin’s flat and him explaining what is sort of happening which made the choices and loops have more sense in meaning.

Multiple timelines, “a “spirit” control us”, “having the ability to revisit our mistakes”. It’s very much influenced from a die/learn mechanic, a video game. We grow from our mistakes the next time round. Felt it wanted us to watch all the endings too, because essentially we can in this world.

Just played through Bandersnatch. Stefan has exactly the same taste in music as my dad :slol: We've got the Thompsons Twins tape and the Tangerine Dream album downstairs.

It was alright. It always feels like Brooker has good ideas but then doesn't really have the strength in the writing to make a story that really wows.

Flipping Jeff Minter though wtf :slol:

"What the strawberry float is Netflix?"

Watched Bandersnatch today and I loved it.

Although I have zero interest in anymore interactive shows. I think it worked perfectly in this because it tied into the narrative and wasn't just a one trick thing. It was a cool experiment that had a lot more going for it than simply "watch a show and pick the ending" which I feel anything else of its kind would be, ultimately.

So yeah, awesome as a one off but I have video games and D&D if I want to experience a narrative that I can semi-control.

Started watching Black Mirror for the first time this week and turns out from comments on here the missus didn't change it from Season 4 to 1 so we've watched the 4th season before 1,2 and 3 :fp:

Don't think it makes a bit of difference as they are all self contained stories aren't they :shifty:

Other than one episode (Black Museum) it doesn’t matter what order you watch them.

Which was obviously the last one I watched last night :fp:

When you say that are you talking about the lollipop and DNA machine from the first episode of season 4? Or something else?

That episode references almost all of the previous episodes.
