The water jet tunnel is petrifying.

I hope you're not including Big Thunder Mountain in that. THE BEST runaway mine train.

The youtube video is bloody creepy. All the theme stuff is nice. But a ride? More like a taxi ride in a dingee on rails.

The state of this thread :dread:

Point 1 - This ride died when Prof Burp went a DECADE ago, its been on life support ever since...

Point 2 - Y'all need to go to some good parks in Europe! Europa Park and Phantasialand in Germany, Efteling in Holland, even Parc Asterix in France... Better than anything our parks have to offer (except maybe Nemesis )

It's a dark ride, that's what they're supposed to be like. Thorpe Park used to have a great one until it got destroyed in a fire:

I was thinking its sort of a mixture of theatre, art installation and sculpture. So I guess in the sense of a "ride" it's nothing like a roller coaster or a water ride and more of a quirky quaint thing. There's something strangely British about it.

My school was almost banned from Chessington because some kids got off the bubble burps ride and started walking around the sets. Apperently they ripped the head off Professor burp and shoved it down a toilet.

I personally wasn't there at the time, but that was the story we were told by the teachers before we went, every year. Although they did say we wouldn't be allowed to go to paint ball if we didn't go to the sports day and I didn't go to the sports day and I didn't go to the sports day and they still let me go.

I was at chessington 2 weeks ago and the bubbles works was the last ride we did for the day pretty fun but there were no bubbles and it looked like it needed a major refurb so not surprised about this news.

It's probably been there for almost 20 years. I was surprised it was still there.

My ex gf went on Saw last year and got whiplash. we had to leave early she was in so much pain and then had to spend a week of work.

I wasnt effected as badly but it was a really unpleasant ride. proper hurt my neck and head, especially the last bit where you climb up. It was so jolty my head was constantly banging against the head support. Horrible ride. Stealth was awesome though.

Saw can be a pretty rough ride and the park know this as they sell painkillers in the gift shop when you come off it, well they used to anyway not sure if they still do. I still think it's an awesome ride, I find you just have to brace yourself and it's not too rough but that vertical lift scares the gooseberry fool out of me same as the one on Smiler.
