In September BubbleWorks is being closed to be replaced with a new ride!

Bloody love that ride.

I don't recall it being sponsored by a bloody soap when I went on it though!

I went on it in, I think, 1995. Came out of it DRENCHED.

I was on Bubbleworks a couple of months ago.

Check out my YouTube channel!
One man should not have this much power in this game. Luckily I'm not an ordinary man.

Just a couple of weeks ago I watched an interesting documentary about the creation of the ride. I'll link to it later when I get home.

Last time I went to Chessington was in 2002 for a school trip (For some reason more people voted to go to Chessington instead of Thorpe Park :fp:) and they wouldn't let us on the Bubbleworks as we had no small children with us. :x

Chessington is gooseberry fool. In fact all our theme parks are either ok or gooseberry fool. I want a proper theme park. strawberry floating Spain has better theme parks than us.

Jesus.

We've got (arguably) the best rollercoaster in the world here.

Yeah, nothing's really "themed" as well as Disneyland or anything, but you can't say the quality of the rides is really anything less than other parks.

I've never actually been to Chessington :shifty:

I was more on about Nemesis at Alton Towers, tbf. It's always up there when anyone's talking about "best" coasters.

The Swarm is phenomenal, too. Now they've added the new near-misses to it it feels a lot more intense.

Here's that documentary I mentioned earlier:

https://vimeo.com/144684964

There are other parts too, each focusing on a different dark ride.
