The Calbuco volcano in southern Chile has erupted twice in the space of a few hours.

Awe-inspiring. :dread: Must be terrifying to see that in real life. Nature can be truly frightening.

But no, you're right.

That second picture you're posted has to be one of the most insane things I've ever seen. If Michael Bay stuck that in a film, you'd say it was too far-fetched.

Looks terrifying as strawberry float. Not sure why this was the first thought that came into my head but its funny how clearly natural events like this could have influenced more superstitious ancient people and shaped their views on Hell, Gods Wrath etc.
