I was going to start one in June

I love christmas dont get me wrong but my kids are all grown ups now and i dont get too excited about it until November. I'm more concerned with Comicon till then. Although i do buy some gifts while I'm there.

Hoping for a better Christmas feeling this year, because we didn't see anybody last year, which I'd normally love, but that coupled with not being able to go anywhere or do anything christmassy outside of the house, meant it just didn't feel like Christmas. I think we only watched 2 Christmas films too, just didn't feel like it.

Yeah last year was messed up good and proper. Had no Xmas gig work either, times got leaner than the roast I usually get but couldn’t :x
Got the missus’s ma coming up to stay this time, she’s 77. Hoping to have my Xmas dinner out like a couple of years ago.

Can we have the snow and guestbook please, it doesn’t feel like Christmas without it.

Had a roast for the first time in a while today. Felt like the first warm up in preparation for having the roasting skills firing on all cylinders ready for the big one :datass:

I can't wait, we usually get 2 weeks off for Xmas so ill be playing lots of games (Halo Infinite 99% of the time) and I can commence my annual watch of the LOTR's trilogy except this time in 4K UHD :toot:

Plus we'll also watch, Trading Places, The Holiday, National Lampoons Christmas Vacation, Die Hard, Christmas with the Kranks, Frozen 2, Elf, and of course Home Alone 1 & 2. The wife has chosen most of these but I do enjoy pottering about the house in Pyjama's drinking some Beer and relaxing while it's freezing outside.

We've got a date for cheese and wine night, and I've reserved a light up reindeer for the front garden. Already looking for an outdoor Christmas tree with lights and cannot wait for it all to begin.

We intended on getting outdoor decorations last year, but as covid kicked off and thee end of the year drew near, we had no enthusiasm for it. Would like to get some lights at least.

I need to sort out my Christmas decorations. My nan gave me a box of vintage decorations that used to belong to her mum (I think she said mum) so now I've got a surplus of decorations

I've been using the same decorations for probably around 10-15 years at this point and there's sentimental things that go on my tree that I made when I was like 3 years old. Even though the tree looks basically the same every year it always feels really nice putting the decorations up and remembering all the previous happy times I had.

I'm looking forward to putting together another picture of the outside of your house at Christmas, Victor! Please be sure to post lots of stuff about your street over the next couple of months as they'll provide inspiration for me  .
