I'm looking forward to putting together another picture of the outside of your house at Christmas, Victor! Please be sure to post lots of stuff about your street over the next couple of months as they'll provide inspiration for me
.
Oh yeah you'll have plenty of inspiration this year. The in-laws are staying with us, so maybe we'll have a repeat of them arriving and driving in to the front of the house

Even though the tree looks basically the same every year it always feels really nice putting the decorations up and remembering all the previous happy times I had.
We used to do the same, had decorations I'd made at primary school, unused candles from teachers when I was really little, vintage (and probably death trap) tree lights with proper bulbs, things like that. I used to love decorating the tree with mum and putting all those things out, it was like Christmas had properly arrived
Then dad chucked it all on the floor of the garage and it all go smashed up and broken (we found it under 8 foot of hoarded rubbish in his garage). The strawberry floating banana split. I'd have still had that stuff on my tree now
