got my work hours for over Christmas and New Year today and providing they don't change there not too bad, I also pretty much finished the majority of my Christmas shopping just got a few tiny bits to do, a few work mates who I get presents for need stuff and I always get at least £20's worth of food and donating it to a food bank and haven't done that yet but all of this is starting to make it feel a little bit more like Christmas.

Basically it's a gingerbread cake covered in chocolate. Supermarkets don't sell it unfortunately, instead going for Lebkuchen (similar, but usually with white chocolate and an apricot jam filling).

That's what the second year of covid's negative energy will do. I really do hope it dies off (or at least is a minimal problem) sometime next year.

But let's not focus on that. After all, no matter whether you like all the traditions of the holiday, it's meant to be one of positivity. So let's give all we can.
